Many people want a completely customized look for thier online store, and guess what, it can be done. There are a number of steps that you must go thru in order to re-design the entire store, and many people rely on a web designer to get it done. You can use our in house design services, or any web designer that you choose to work on a re-design.

[edit] Identify what you want to change
Before moving forward with a redesign of your shopping cart, you should have a clearly detailed action plan. This written plan will need to detail each change for the store. A document like this is sometimes referred to as a requirements document.
A requirements document can be written in any popular word processor, or a piece of paper. To begin, you will want to shop using our store software. As you are using the software document each item that you would like to change or modify. Make a comprehensive list as it will help your designer to accurately give you a cost estimate. You can think about redesigning your store, just like remodeling your kitchen. If you tell the contractor mid way through the project that you want to add a few new lights, and repaint it another color, and add some new appliances the cost will change. So, just like a home remodel, all of the work must be known at the beginning of the project or the quote will not be accurate.
[edit] Do your research
Once you know what work needs to be done, you will need to figure out if your organization can implement the changes. To determine if you can make the changes, you should do your research within the admin area, the manual, and the wiki. After doing your research you should have a good idea if you can implement the changes, or if you need help.
[edit] Who will do the work
If you already know who is going to design your store, that is half the battle. Even if you have a designer, we suggest that you contact our sales team to assist in the redesign process and identifying the constraints of the project.
If you don't have a designer, our in house programmers and designers can make your redesign happen. We also have a list of third party developers that we can refer you to. Our sales team can give you help defining your project and even give you a quote for the cost.
[edit] Figure out your budget
Know what you are willing to spend on your site, or site improvements. If you are new to online web projects, knowing this amount may be hard to know. If you need help figuring out how to determine a budget, you can always contact our office as we can help.
