[edit] Changing your Nameservers
When you are ready to move your website to our servers, this is done at a registrar, like GoDaddy, Register.com, or 123cheapdomains. After you registered your domain, you were given the option to change your nameserver information to point to a new nameserver. Changing a nameserver is done only when you want to disrupt and change your hosting account.
You do not want to change your nameserver information until your are absolutely sure that you want to redirect your domain to the new servers.

- This process can take up to 7 days to complete, however, it typically happens in less than 36 hours.
- Never switch until you are ready to move your email and hosting account.

When you switch your nameservers to point to our servers, please make sure that you have notified us with your information. You will be setting two nameservers.
- Nameserver #1: ns0.bizshoppingcart.net
- Nameserver #2: ns1.bizshoppingcart.net
[edit] What happens when nameservers are changed?
When you update your nameserver information at your registrar, you are telling them that you have a new hosting provider. The registrar system is something like a huge phone book of address information. Each time that a web user trys to access your website, they are looking up your hosting address in the huge database of website names.
Each time a new visitors wants to access your webpage, after your have updated your nameservers, they will be forwarded to the new hosting location, and also the new website. Previous visitors may have "cached" your website address, and it may take these people a few more days to get the new hosting location.
So as you see, this is not an instant process and can take up to many days for it to complete for all customers.
